Wilderness Test Server Rules

Here you will find the rules for our Test Servers
Our rules are subject to change and revision, you will be notified if and when our rules are revised, the number of rules we have is directly proportional to how players abuse the Test servers or other users, so if you don't want lots of rules (we don't) please play nice.

Please read carefully through the rules, and adhere to them, if everyone adhere's to the rules there should be no problems and everyone gets to have a great time.

If your not sure about a rule just ask, nobody is going to mind.

  1. Please do NOT join a test server if you are not willing to help us test.

  2. If you find a problem or bug whilst playing on a test server, please complete a written bug report in the relevant section on the forum giving as much information as possible, the more information you can give us, the easier it will be for us to reproduce the issue / problem and find a solution.

  3. Anyone found to be trying to stop or hinder another player who is carrying out genuine testing will be banned from using the test servers.

  4. We reserve the right to stop certain players from accessing the test servers.

  5. Any player found stealing unreleased scripts or code from the test servers will be banned from all of our servers for life!

  6. Any player loitering in a test server and not actually testing anything will be kicked due to a limited number of slots on the servers.

  7. Any person found to be trying to execute malicious code on the test server will be banned (unless asked to do so by prior arrangement with us for testing purposes).

  8. Any person found to be trying to hack on the test server will be banned (unless asked to do so by prior arrangement with us for testing purposes).

  9. Any person found to be trying to attack our network via any means will be banned (unless asked to do so by prior arrangement with us for testing purposes).

  10. Please keep the language clean and objective, don't clutter up sidechat with non important gossip, thats what a private channel on teamspeak is for.

  11. Where ever possible please use Teamspeak at: ts.wilderness-servers.co.uk when testing on the test servers so that communication is easier, clearer and we can get to the root of issues far quicker.

  12. We reserve the right to shut down a test server at any time.

  13. We reserve the right to start up a test server at any time without notifying the community.

  14. Any progress you make in game on a test server is not guaranteed to be there when you next join the said server.

  15. The test servers may well have bugs and throw up error messages, this is part of the testing process (better the test server than a live server!).
