Connecting - A3 Launcher

Arguably the easiest way to set your self up to play on Wilderness Two is to download and install A3 Launcher from HERE, you can do this once you have Arma3 and your paid DLC installed, and you have run it at least once.

Once A3 Launcher is installed and running you can go to the servers tab and search "Wilderness Two"

Once it has been found simply join the server, the launcher will tell you that the server requires you to download extra mods to join, accept and download the extra mods needed (you only have to do this the first time, or if we add mods to the server or mods get updated).

Once the mods have fully downloaded you can join the server, you can check the mods download progress by clicking the mods tab in the A3 Launcher.

Connecting - Arma3 Dashboard

Alternatively and more difficult you can join the server from the Arma3 dashboard.

Under the direct connect option enter "194.147.120.6" as the server address and "2402" as the port number.

It should be pointed out that you will need to manually download via the steam workshop and activate the required mods via the dashboard prior to joining the server using this method, Exile can be downloaded from the exile website, the link is provided in the mod list above.

If Exile or any of the other required mods are not running the server will kick you.

Very Important
If ever the A3 Launcher wants to update or validate Exile DO NOT update or validate it until we have confirmed that the server has been updated to the latest version of Exile, if you do update before we update the server you won't be able to join the server until we have updated it, at present there is no known way to roll back versions via the A3 Launcher once you have updated!

Connection Problems

If you do have problems joining the server there are a few things that we recommend that you try:

IMPORTANT: The server will NOT let you connect if you have one of the following: Steam VAC Ban, Battle Eye Global Ban, Infistar Global Ban, Local Server Ban.

Battle Eye is the biggest headache for anyone playing Arma2 or 3, sometimes it can stop you connecting to a server for no particular reason, we've seen it time and time again where a corrupt Battle Eye can stuff up an evenings gaming, and the best part is it can go corrupt for absolutely no reason at all! One solution is to completely remove Battle Eye and let it reinstall when you re-launch Arma3.

You can try validating your Arma3 installation via Steam.

As a last resort you can try uninstalling your Arma3, and all your mods, then re-downloading it through Steam, let it install again, and then reinstall your mods.

There are also other factors to consider, don't use a wireless connection for online gaming, and make sure you have at least a reasonable internet connection with a fairly good speed (no watching streaming video's while trying to play Arma online!) sounds daft but we've seen people try it, Arma3 transfers at least two to three times more data than Arma2 during online gaming!

Last but not least, be sure that your PC hardware is up to the job and meets at least the minimum specs required for Arma3.
